Process Safety Analysis

At aeSolutions, we know the best way to identify and quantify risk is to work closely with our clients to understand their needs so together we can begin meeting their goals.

As a supplier of complete risk management solutions, aeSolutions has the bench strength to support our clients’ risk assessment requirements. Our assessment teams have design, maintenance, operating, and process safety backgrounds and are supported by a fully staffed Process Safety Division led by professional engineers who have helped develop and refine industry requirements.

Our unequalled combination of standards and committee work, our formal training, and our extensive project experience mean we’re uniquely qualified.

Identifying and Quantifying Risk

Our trained and experienced facilitators are skilled in the various acceptable methodologies for implementing Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), including the Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) study and the What-If technique. Our team can provide these services for capital projects and facility operations or as part of your corporate Management of Change (MOC) process.

We can then build upon the results of those studies using the Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) technique to identify the desired integrity level for your critical protective functions.

We can also help you determine the costs associated with risk mitigation to help determine or justify capital project funding.
