Control Systems Engineer
The Control Systems Engineer with alarm management and rationalization experience is an integral member of the team of professionals supporting our clients in the oil & gas, chemical and petrochemical industries. Strong knowledge and understanding of ISA-18 standards is expected when implementing the latest Alarm Rationalization techniques.
Duties include:
- Provide comprehensive alarm management consulting services including alarm rationalization
- Reconcile alarms against the principals and requirements of the alarm philosophy
- Document the alarm to support the stages of the life cycle
- Document the rationale for the alarm and basic information such as operator action, response time, and consequences of deviation
- Assign alarm priorities
- Classify alarms into design requirement categories
- Mentor less experienced staff technically and professionally
- Contribute to aeSolutions business development through participation in committees and presentations at conferences
- Contribute to growth of client accounts through demonstrated client service, team building and professionalism
